Selling your boat from your own mooring

What can you expect from us?

After an intake/acquaintance meeting, I will take a detailed look at the ship and give a value indication. When we start working together, an exclusive brokerage agreement is drawn up. VAT/ CE/ Land Registry research is then carried out. After making a photo report and drawing up the specifications, the sales vessel is promoted.

This takes place via the company's own website, international advertising campaign, its own network and network of colleagues and social media.

Further procedure

There is a choice between accompanying the viewings by the owner/seller or by the yacht broker/employee. This obviously saves on costs. After conducting price negotiations, a purchase/sale contract is drawn up.

If necessary, the boat can be inspected by a recognised expert, which we then supervise. The financial transaction takes place securely via the HISWA/Recron third-party account. Upon delivery, there is a nice present and the deed of transfer is signed.

What do we expect from the ship owner/seller?

  • The vessel will be sold from its own berth, so you can keep sailing and do not have to give up the berth yet.
  • The ship is kept clean and tidy by the seller so that we can present it in the best possible way. In consultation, keeping the ship clean can also be outsourced.
  • The boat remains insured, preferably all-risk.
